We don't know about you but we have heard stories about various colleges and universities where competition is fierce roar! Of course, here at TCC, we do not ask you to be Queen B (heehee from Gossip Girl) but we offer advice on how to dress to stay socially alive. :) Our main advice here is : DRESS APPROPRIATELY!
Seriously girls, please do not, we repeat, do not, wear something too fancy for college. For example, even though toga dresses are in the trend, do not wear a sequin/silver/gold/lame toga dress to class!
We love love love wearing these to classes:
1. Summer dresses
We love them. The joy they bring, the smile they put on our face... Its all sun and smiles when you're wearing one. :) However, we recommend wearing a cardi and some flipflops with one to tone down the outfit.
Miss Capsicum
A rose for the missus? Oh so cute and feminine! We have a secret obsession with halter dresses. If you have chubby arms like Miss Blogger here, halter dresses takes the attention away from the arms! We also love the cute small ruffles at the hem. Alice in Wonderland, we suppose?
Lawa-Lawa
Now, this is a dress with a difference! We love the tomboy cut and the cute designed pockets! Wear this with leggings and pumps and you'll look sooooo yummy! Not to mention the candilicious colour the dress is in!
2. Plain Basic Dresses
You can't go wrong with these! Wear it on its own and make a subtle statement! Hint: You do not want to go all extreme in college! You'll want people to know you for who you are, NOT what you wear!
Cotton Story
We love the adorable kiddie kiddie sleeves and the empire-like waistline! Its a little bit low cut though so you might want to consider wearing a black tube inside the dress to avoid showing too much.
Enchanting Hearts
Hmmm. The second red dress we love that we have seen today! Yayyyy, we love everything about this outfit. With details at the bust, so unique for a plain dress! This dress is the last piece! What are you waiting for?
